Surya Ayurveda Health Resort is situated in the Thrissur district, just 10 kilometers away from Thrissur town.
The resort is conceived to be a rendezvous between pleasure and purification. Sprawled across a large stretch of lush greenery, the resort is surrounded by paddy fields and coconut groves stretching for miles around. Though far away from the bustle of town, all urban comforts in terms of accommodation and amenities are available at the resort. The ambience of Kerala´s heritage is reflected in the elegantly designed suits, treatment centre, meditation halls and recreational facilities.
For those spiritually or culturally interested, the Vadakkumnatha and Guruvayoor temples are close to the resort. The Punnathur fort and Vadanappilly beach are also close by. The Vilangan Hills are within 30 kilometers. It is in Thrissur that the annual festival of “Pooram” is held. Pooram festival is famous for its gloriously-costumed elephants, sheer numbers of spectators and fairy-tale decor. Perhaps your visit could coincide with this highlight!

Ayurvedic Experts
The Ayurvedic centre provides professional consultations and treatments from the time-tested science of Ayurveda. At the centre's helm is a male doctor (BAMS) assisted by a female physician (BAMS). They are available for consultation every day. Soothing treatments are given by caring therapists consisting of seven males and seven females. Quality medicines are either made on the premises or procured from reputable companies.
Cuisine
Kerala cuisine is served at Surya resort with special emphasis on ayurveda cooking. Most of the ingredients are organically grown. Abundant fresh fruits and refreshing coconut water are always available.
